Responsibilities:

Core Product Development :

1. Build and iterate on our app using Python and FastAPI
2. Create simple, secure connectors for document systems (starting with local files and Clio)
3. Develop clean web interfaces for setup and configuration
4. Implement document processing and AI integration features
5. Build our WordPress marketing site and landing pages
6. Ship features fast, get user feedback, iterate quickly

What You’ll Work With:

1. Backend: Python with FastAPI, PostgreSQL
2. Frontend: TypeScript/JavaScript, Vue.js/React (simple interfaces)
3. Marketing: WordPress with Bricks builder
4. AI Integration: OpenAI API, Anthropic Claude, MCP
5. Infrastructure: Docker, basic cloud deployment

Your Focus:

1. 80% Backend: Python/FastAPI, PostgreSQL, API integrations
2. 15% Frontend: Simple web interfaces for admin and setup
3. 5% WordPress: Marketing site updates and landing pages

Requirements:

1. 3–6 years of hands-on development experience
2. Strong Python skills with web framework experience (FastAPI, Flask, or Django)
3. Experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases
4. Basic frontend development skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
5. You love shipping features and seeing people use them
6. Comfortable working directly with users and iterating based on feedback
7. Experience with API integrations

Big Plus (Not Required, But Awesome):

1. WordPress development experience - Theme customization, plugins, Bricks builder
2. Experience with AI/ML APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic)
3. Understanding of authentication and security best practices
4. Familiarity with AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, Claude, etc.)
5. Previous startup or small team experience
