- Full Time Print and Textile/Cad artist needed for fast paced , fast fashion company for tween girls, juniors and junior plus.
- Create CADs, sketches and develop original artwork and graphics
- Work across brands and across product categories (knit tops, skirts, pants, athleisure)
- Work with the design team to create CADs that align with design direction
- Turn around requests in a timely manner.
- Able to take direction well
- Understand garment construction and terminology as it relates to the job
- Self starter, proactive
- **Absolute must: be able to create original prints and graphics and repeats/colorways**
- **Absolute must: be able to create flats sketches and cads**
- Not remote, must be in the local NYC area , be able to commute to office in Garment Center
. Requirements:
- Degree in Fashion Design or Graphic Design
- 2+ years experience using Photoshop and Illustrator
- Understanding of all aspects of copyright-related to graphics and textile design
- Excellent color and print sensibility, with an eye for fashion and detail
- Strong understanding of trends in the market
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills
- Proactive team player
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Junior sportswear or Girls experience is a plus.
- Must be able to commute to New York City. This is an in office position , Monday through Friday.
