Olsson is constantly thinking about new solutions and finding new ways to improve telecommunication design. As an Associate GIS Technician on the Telecom team, you will provide assistance to engineers, use ArcMap, and GIS fiber asset management software (NetDesigner, OSPInsight, or equivalent) to perform design work, create construction plan sets, and model telecommunication networks in an asset management database. You may also travel to job sites for observation, and/or field work, working in all types of terrain and weather conditions.

You bring to the team:

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to contribute and work well on a team.
• Ability to meet project deadlines.
• Associates degree in GIS or drafting preferred.
• 1-5 years of experience with ArcMap; NetDesigner or OSPInsight preferred.
• 2-4 years of experience in GIS or one of the related fields (GIS, Telecom, Engineering Design).
