ASSOCIATE DESIGNER- GIRLS 4-16 SPORTSWEAR

Importer looking for a Girl's Associate Designer to join our design team.

This is a hands-on design position. The candidate must have a minimum of 3 years experience designing Girls 4-16 products, as well as the ability to design and execute screen print graphics and allover prints.

JOB DETAILS:

- Research trends that adapt to our target market.

- Work closely with the Head Designer to develop fashion products that are appropriate for the budget market.

- Create and maintain Line Sheets and Tech packs.

- Daily commenting on sample submissions including, garments, artwork, lab dips, and trims.

- Creating Production artwork and Tech-Packs.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in girl's sportswear budget market.

- Advanced knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop for the MAC as used for apparel design.

- Experience designing a variety of girls' sportswear products.

- Strong understanding of garment construction, sewing, and printing techniques.

- Must be organized and can multi-task in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
