This not for profit, acute care, teaching hospital has over 500 beds and is a Level I Trauma Center. The healthcare system is a leader in Emergency Services for both Adults and Pediatrics, Cardiac Care, Cancer Care and Womens and Childrens Services.

The Acute Care Hospital Cardiovascular Department AVP of Nursing will report directly to the CNO. They will be responsible for the clinical, financial and administrative aspects of the Service Line. The Hospital AVP Cardiac Services RN will work directly with the hospital-wide leadership team to ensure that organizational values are met as well as maintaining exceptional quality care.

The AVP will be responsible for overseeing Surgical Units, Critical Care Units, Trauma Units, and Rapid Response Team. A Master’s Degree, NY nursing license, 8 years of clinical experience, and 3 years of management experience is required. CVICU and CVOR experience preferred.
