Job Description:

The Tulane Center for Biomedical Informatics and Genomics (CBG) at the Tulane University School of Medicine (SOM) is seeking outstanding applicants for multiple research-track assistant/associate/full professor positions in the various omics, bioinformatics, health informatics, or translational research in complex diseases. will lead the current funded NIH projects related to neuroinflammation in aging and Alzheimer’s diseases, and study the impact of neurotrophic virus on the neurovascular functions. He/she will also develop cutting-edge research methods and technologies to further advance our neuroscience research, including establish novel and comprehensive human iPSC-derived organoid models. He/she will also mentor graduate students on their research projects.



Applicants must have a PhD, MD, or equivalent doctoral degree and appropriate research experience in genomics, biostatistics, medical/health informatics, bioinformatics, computational biology, molecular genetics, genetic epidemiology, or translational medicine.

Candidates are expected to develop, or have an established track record of, sustained extramural funding.


Ability and willingness to collaborate with other faculty members in Tulane CBG and Tulane University School of Medicine is required.
