We are now looking for a dynamic and experienced Assistant Director/School Age Program to join our vibrant team. This role is pivotal in transforming the educational journey of children aged 5-12 years, fostering a love for learning, critical thinking, and creativity, particularly through STEM activities and exciting field trips.

Position Summary:
As the Assistant Director/School Age Program, you will play a critical role in shaping our Preschool Program, working closely with the Director to ensure smooth daily operations. Your leadership will be instrumental in creating a stimulating learning environment, supporting the academic, social, and emotional development of our students, and guiding our team to deliver an exceptional educational experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and implementing an innovative curriculum with a focus on STEM and field trips.
• Collaborate with the Director to foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for staff, students, and families.
• Supervise, mentor, and support teachers and staff, providing resources and guidance.
• Lead professional development initiatives to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
• Ensure compliance with all regulations and licensing requirements.
• Build strong relationships with parents and community partners.
• Manage school resources, budget, and facilities effectively.
• Continuously evaluate and improve program effectiveness based on data-driven insights.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field (or 5+ years in leadership).
• Minimum 5 years experience in early childhood education, with 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Expertise in STEM-focused curricula and activities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Passion for working with children and commitment to transformative education.
