We are seeking a talented Asset Manager to effectively collaborate and support the financing and asset management of solar projects across the United States. The candidate will provide analytical and process support throughout the solar project life cycle. Responsibilities include performing transaction analysis, contract management/negotiation, portfolio level reporting, performance analysis, regulatory submittals, maintenance initiatives, and other asset management functions. Responsibilities:
- Oversee both the financial and operational aspects of a portfolio of operating solar projects, with potential future opportunities in storage and EV charging assets.
- Enhance financial and operational metrics to maximize asset value.
- Interface with energy offtakers to optimize revenue distribution.
- Manage ongoing O&M and warranty relationships for projects.
- Drive initiatives to optimize asset performance and implement performance improvements.
- Develop processes, structures, and work products to support the management and reporting of operating assets, including the preparation of performance summary reports for financing parties.
- Create detailed project, fund, and fleet-level reports on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis as needed.
- Identify, address, and communicate solutions to complex operational issues, and collaborate with team members to learn from and improve future projects.
- Assist in developing and coordinating project budgets, models, P&L statements, and contract amendments.
- Ensure portfolio performance meets or exceeds forecasted production by reviewing performance reports and working with O&M providers to investigate issues and implement improvement initiatives.
- Compile financial statements and work with the accounting/finance team.
- Support the selection of third-party service providers and negotiate contracts.
- Research and implement new technologies, initiatives, and partnerships to improve fleet performance.
