Job Overview

The Art Project Manager position is responsible for the overall project management of exhibitions and projects from the AltaMed Art Collection, from conception to implementation. The Art Project Manager is familiar with Chicano/Latino art, and preferably fluent in Spanish. Excellent communication, critical thinking, creative problem solving, attention to detail, writing, and multitasking are essential skills necessary for this position.

Education & Experience Requirements
 

• Bachelor’s degree in the areas of Museum Studies, Art, Art History, or related field required.
• Minimum of 5 years of museum or gallery experience working on art exhibitions with expertise in exhibition development, planning, management, and operations required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management, including successfully creating and managing contracts, budgets, and schedules highly preferred. Project Management Professional (PMP) Certificate required.
• Non-profit experience desired but not required.

Salary Range

$64,480.00 - $94,224.00 annually
