Job Overview

The Applications Development Intermediate Programmer Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities.


Citi is seeking a highly motivated candidate for Angular Developer in Wholesale Credit Risk Technology team that serves Institutional Credit Management (ICM). We are looking for a talented professional with a solid technical acumen to partner with onshore and offshore teams and design and deliver innovative technology solution for the front office, Credit Risk Business. The candidate will be a core member of the technology team responsible implementing projects based on Angular, Micro Frontend architecture, Typescript and using latest technologies. Excellent opportunity to immerse in and learn within the Wholesale Credit Risk Division and gain exposure to business and technology initiatives targeted to maintain lead position among its competitors.


Job Responsibilities:

  1. Participate in the design, development, and implementation of new or revised application systems.
  2. Identify and define necessary system enhancements using scripting tools, coding analysis, and technical knowledge.
  3. Consult with users, clients, and technology groups to recommend programming solutions and support systems.
  4. Apply knowledge of programming languages to meet design specifications.
  5. Perform application testing, debugging, and vulnerability analysis.
  6. Act as an advisor or coach to junior or new analysts.
  7. Resolve issues by applying technical experience and documented precedents.
  8. Exercise a limited level of supervision, with independence of judgment.
  9. Ensure compliance with risk, control, and regulatory guidelines, protecting Citi’s reputation and assets.
  10. Research and resolve complex issues, escalating as appropriate.


Qualifications:

  1. 3+ years of hands on experience in building UI/UX Components using Angular and Typescript
  2. Hands on development experience working on Micro Frontends using Angular and integration with REST APIs
  3. Experience working with CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes and other containerized platforms.
  4. Ability to effectively interact, collaborate with development team
  5. Ability to effectively communicate development progress to the Project Lead
  6. Work with developers onshore, offshore and matrix teams to implement a business solution
  7. Investigate possible bug scenarios and production support issues
  8. Experience developing application in Financial Services industry is preferred


Education:

  1. Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
