We are an 'early stage' pre-money nonprofit/ tech startup preparing for a proof-of-concept launch / seed-raise looking to recruit VOLUNTEERS as App Developer (React Native).

We are seeking a dedicated App Developer with expertise in React Native to join our team. In this role, you will contribute to the development and enhancement of a mobile application designed to revolutionize healthcare access for patients with complex diseases. Your work will directly impact our mission of improving patient care and well-being.

We’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with our design and development team to build user-friendly interfaces and seamless experiences in React Native.
2. Develop new features and optimize existing functionality to meet project goals and deadlines.
3. Debug and resolve technical issues to ensure smooth application performance.
4. Participate in regular team meetings to provide updates on progress and share insights for improvement.

Required Experience:

1. Proficiency in React Native (5+ years), JavaScript, and mobile app development
2. Familiarity with third-party libraries, APIs, and integration practices
3. Ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable code
4. Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset
5. Passion for contributing to a nonprofit mission
6. Familiarity with Agile frameworks is a plus
7. Ability to attend weekly standup meeting (conference call with desktop/ laptop access for screen sharing)
8. BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
9. HealthTech experience is a plus

NOTE:

2. Location: 100% remote
3. Location: Anywhere in the World
4. Hours per week: Approximately 4 to 8+ ( can be adjusted as per volunteer availability)
5. Reporting to: Founder
6. HealthTech experience is a plus
