Primary Responsibilities:

1. Provides guidance and best practices for successful AngularJS upgrades and/or modernizations.
2. Designs, develops, and tests new features in VA provided applications. Responsible for regular communication with colleagues involved in all development processes.
3. Can perform analysis, implements, tests, and can troubleshoot bug-fixes. Responsibility for design and implementation of software projects using C# and the most current Angular framework.
4. Determines user needs; analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls; prepares operating instructions; designs and develops autonomous services, desktop applications, web applications, scripts, and utility programs.
5. Ensure software standards are met.
6. Frequent use and application of technical standards, principles, theories, concepts and techniques.
7. Receives assignments in the form of objectives and establishes goals to meet outlined objectives.
8. Provides solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.
9. Work is reviewed for soundness of technical judgment, overall adequacy and accuracy. Exercises judgement within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
10. Contributes to completion of milestones associated with specific projects.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s and eight (8) years or more experience
2. 4+ years AngularJS experience (version 14 or higher)
3. Basic HTML5 and CSS3, JavaScript 5.x, TypeScript 4.x, Bootstrap 5.x, JQuery 3.6.x
4. MS SQL Server (ability to write stored procedures, understand SQL, create tables, and manage DBs)
5. Visual Studio knowledge/experience (versions 2019 - 2022)
6. Experience with GIT, APIs, Linux, and AWS
7. Strong work ethic with ability to manage workload and deliverables under tight deadlines
8. Self-starter with a positive attitude and very good interpersonal skills
9. Can work autonomously and efficiently in a remote environment
10. Ability to obtain a VA Position of Public Trust

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience with Department of Veterans Affairs and/or Veterans Health Administration is a plus.

$100,000 - $115,000 a year
