Key Responsibilities:

• Synthesize polymer particles using established chemistries
• Participate in process optimization, development, and scale-ups for routine production
• Perform analytical characterization of polymeric particles using specialty equipment and instrumentation (including ion-chromatography, particle sizing, and surface area instruments)
• Analyze data, derive conclusions, document findings, write SOPs and prepare reports
• Present written and oral reports, and collaborate with multidisciplinary groups with R&D and manufacturing divisions
• Producing many of the resins that are key to the success of Ion Chromatography portfolio
• Follow all EH&S safety requirements, participate in safety improvement activities, and carry out to ISO9001 guidelines and corporate quality policy

The ideal candidate will possess the following combination of education and experience:

• Hands on experience in the Chemistry laboratory & wet chemistry
• Ability to summarize and present experimental results and have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must obtain Bachelor’s degree in science related field
• Able to lift the weights up to 40 lbs and meet all physical demands to work in chemical laboratory
