As our Amazon Growth & PPC Manager at Freebird, you'll be pivotal in amplifying our presence on Amazon. Transitioning from the broad scope of an agency to a singular, laser-focused role, your main battlefield will be Amazon PPC. Dive deep into the nuances of campaign styles, brief or build compelling ad creatives with our creative team, fine-tune ad copy, and champion video strategies. Your analytical acumen will be key in consistently refining campaigns for the best ROI. But it's not all about PPC; you'll also drive product listing improvements, A/B testing innovations, and spearhead our venture into new international markets. This position is carved out for a proactive strategist, deeply versed in Amazon's advertising ecosystem, eager to take Freebird's Amazon game to unparalleled heights.
Responsibilities

  • Campaign Management: Oversee the development, execution, and performance of all Amazon PPC campaigns, including Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display.
  • Advanced Analytics: Dive deep into campaign analytics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas of improvement. Leverage data-driven insights to refine bid strategies, keyword selection, and targeting.
  • Product Listing Optimization: Refine and enhance product listings, including photos, copywriting, keywords, titles, bullet points, A+ EBC, and other vital backend details.

  • Performance Reporting & Goal Pacing: Regularly report on campaign performances, ensuring we're on track to meet, if not exceed, our goals.
  • Maintain BuyBox: Keep a vigilant eye to consistently maintain our BuyBox status and proactively report and act against infringing 3rd party sellers.
  • New Product Launch Strategy: Plan and spearhead the launching strategy for all new products or product expansions on Amazon.
  • Ranking Strategies: Implement and refine techniques to boost organic product rankings, focusing on improving Best Sellers Rank (BSR). Monitor and adjust strategies based on keyword ranking, search volume, and conversion rates to drive sustainable organic sales growth and maintain a competitive edge on Amazon.

Requirements

  • Proven Experience: Minimum of 5 years of deep Amazon growth experience, preferably from a performance-driven Amazon agency or in-house at a DTC brand.
  • Track Record with DTC Brands: Demonstrated success with growing DTC brands, particularly those with a low SKU catalog emphasizing 1-2 core hero products.
  • Revenue Expertise: Proven capability in managing and scaling brands with 8+ figures in annual revenue.

  • In-depth PPC Knowledge: Extensive understanding of Amazon PPC intricacies, including campaign types, ad creatives, ad copy, video strategies, and constant optimization.
  • Product Listing Mastery: Proficiency in product listing optimization, including images, title, bullet points, backend details, A+ EBC, and other vital aspects.
  • A/B Testing Expertise: Demonstrated experience with A/B testing strategies to optimize listings and ads for maximum conversions.
