Location: Van Nuys, CA (on-site)

Pay: $30 to $40 per hour

The Role

We’re looking for a developer who truly knows AI, not just how to call an API. You’ll own day-to-day development on our CRM (crmbonbon.com) and help build AI features for our AI-powered app for the electrical trade. You’ll work directly with the founder, see your work go live quickly, and have a real say in how things get built.

What You’ll Do

• Build and improve features in our CRM: jobs, scheduling, crews, estimates, invoices, and reporting
• Add AI to the CRM, such as smart estimates, material lists, job summaries, and automations
• Help improve the AI answer engine in our app (retrieval, prompts, accuracy, speed, cost)
• Connect systems together: databases, payment tools, email, and third-party APIs
• Find and fix bugs, write clean code, and keep things secure
• Use AI coding tools every day to move fast without breaking things

Must Have

• 2+ years of hands-on software development experience
• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript with Node.js and React
• Solid SQL and PostgreSQL experience
• Real projects using LLMs in production (Claude, Gemini, OpenAI, or similar), including RAG, prompt design, structured outputs, and handling AI mistakes
• Daily use of AI coding tools like Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot
• Comfortable working on your own and owning a feature from start to finish
• Able to work on-site in Van Nuys

Nice to Have

• React Native / Expo
• Prisma ORM
• Google Cloud / Vertex AI or AWS experience
• Stripe integration
• Experience with CRMs, field service software, or the construction/electrical trades
