Position Description

Realign (Jobtest.org) is seeking a part-time, AI-Powered Resume Writer (~20 hours per week) who excels at blending technology with human insight. In this role, you will use advanced AI tools to craft compelling resumes and related career documents that position our clients for success in today’s competitive job market. From understanding a client’s career goals to tailoring their story for industry-specific standards, you will play a key role in helping individuals present themselves with clarity, confidence, and impact.

As an AI-Powered Resume Writer, you will collaborate one-on-one with clients via brief virtual sessions, then leverage AI-driven processes to deliver polished, effective resumes. Your ability to quickly interpret client backgrounds, align their experience with hiring trends, and produce top-quality work within rapid turnarounds will be critical. What You’ll Do

1. Client Engagement & Discovery: Conduct 30-minute Zoom sessions with clients to clarify their career goals, identify their strengths, and understand their professional narrative.
2. AI-Driven Content Creation: Utilize AI tools to efficiently develop resumes and other career documents that resonate with hiring managers and meet industry standards.
3. Expert Guidance: Apply knowledge of recruiting, HR, and talent acquisition to ensure that clients’ resumes reflect current market demands and showcase their unique value propositions.
4. Tailored Solutions: Adapt resumes for various industries and roles, ensuring that each document is customized to the client’s target audience.
5. Quick, Quality Delivery: Work confidently and decisively to deliver final resumes within a two-day turnaround, balancing speed with meticulous attention to detail.
6. Industry Insight: Stay informed about evolving hiring practices and trends across multiple sectors to keep clients’ materials relevant and competitive.

What You’ll Bring

1. Experience & Background: a minimum of 1 year of experience in resume writing, career coaching, HR, recruiting, or related fields, with a demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools into your workflow.
2. Technical Proficiency: Comfort using AI-driven platforms and tools for content creation and editing.
3. Recruiting & TA Insight: Familiarity with the recruiting and talent acquisition landscape, along with a proven track record of meeting the expectations of hiring managers.
4. Adaptability & Efficiency: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple client projects simultaneously, and deliver exceptional work under tight deadlines.
5. Versatility: Experience working with clients across various industries is a plus, reflecting a broad understanding of different role requirements and market norms.
6. Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, essential for conveying a client’s story with clarity and impact.
7. Commitment to Quality: Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to produce refined, professional resumes quickly and confidently.

Compensation
