Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated College Admissions Counselor to educate families on college admissions and the enrollment process for Zenith Prep Academy. This role involves conducting virtual consultations via Zoom, maintaining client relationships, and collaborating with the team to provide exceptional service to families navigating college planning.

Compensation & Benefits

1. Salaried, full-time position
2. Salary Range: $60,000 - $70,000 annually + Health/Dental/Vision/401k, additional benefits
3. 100% remote position

Schedule

Days: Thursday - Sunday

1. Priority availability: Friday and Saturday required
2. Thursday evening shift preferred
3. All Admissions Counselors are required to have 1 evening available for calls.

Key Responsibilities

Client Consultation & Support

1. Conduct comprehensive discussions with families about the college admissions process via Zoom
2. Lead consultation calls, typically 45 minutes to 1 hour in length
3. Make initial contact with families to confirm scheduled meetings
4. Guide prospective students and answer questions throughout their introductory admissions call
5. Maintain ongoing email communication with families to provide updates, answer questions, and ensure consistent support

Administrative & Documentation

1. Update and maintain CRM with family information and interaction notes
2. Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all client communications
3. Review and stay current with weekly training updates, including company-wide and department-specific information

Team Collaboration & Development

1. Participate in weekly 1:1 meetings with leadership to discuss performance, goals, and support needs
2. Attend weekly team meetings to share updates, receive new information, and collaborate with colleagues
3. Stay informed on best practices, policy changes, and company initiatives

Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will be organized, communicative, and passionate about helping families achieve their college goals. Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple client relationships are essential. A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required to apply. Educational background not required, but ideal.
