The Administrative Assistant provides administrative support and oversight for the COHS AVC – Finance and SOM - Executive Director of Finance. Responsible for the management of the COHS AVC/SOM ED – Finance’s complex calendar in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities. Under direction from the Project Policy Analyst 4, the Administrative Assistant maintains files, signature items, and various documents, utilizing analytical and organizational skills and exercising independent judgment to provide a broad-range of support for the COHS AVC/SOM ED – Finance.
The Administrative Assistant also functions as the contact person for general administrative services, communication, and special events within the School of Medicine – Dean’s Office Finance unit; serving as a resource to staff and management of all levels on matters related to operations and activities. In addition, the incumbent manages short-term and long-term administrative projects that affect the entire unit; like filing, facility management and equipment inventory.
