Summary
We’re seeking a new member to join our accounting team as an Accounts Payable
Coordinator responsible for processing payments for large volume of invoices. The
corporate office for our group of retail stores, ABC Warehouse, Hawthorne Appliance
and Mickey Shorr is located in Pontiac, MI. Family owned and operated since 1963, we specialize in household appliances, mattresses, furniture and home and car electronics. With 700+ employees we have grown to fifty-seven brick and mortar retail locations in multiple states including several internet channels.

Job Duties:
· Responsible for processing invoices for payment with proper authorization and
documentation
· Review invoices and reconcile all discrepancies
· Reconcile all vendor statements monthly
· Monitor all vendor credits for timely deductions and prepare monthly status report
· Manage the A/P aging of assigned vendors to ensure timely and accurate processing
· Obtain all current W-9’s and Certificates of Insurance
· Ensure all accounting and company policies and procedures are followed
· Assist with Developing and maintaining a written policy and procedure manual for all
A/P processes
· Perform filing, scanning and other administrative duties as necessary
· Complete other projects and tasks as assigned by management

Qualifications:

· Self-starter with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, analyze and resolve issues
· Ability to work well in a fast paced team environment
· Pleasant, professional and confident communication skills
· Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word and Access
· Experience with ERP system(s),a plus
