Job Description:

Accounts Payable / Office Support

Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable invoices
• Monitor accounts payable general email for new invoices
• Review and verify invoices and purchase orders are accurate
• Reconcile vendor statements, request missing tickets, send exemption certificates to vendors
• Prepare and process weekly check runs or electronic payments
• Maintain accurate and organized accounts payable filing
• Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable
• Assist with Waivers of lien sending, tracking, and follow up to ensure all waivers are returned by vendors
• Provide support for audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries
• Order Port-a-johns for company projects
• Submit OUPS requests as per project manager and superintendent requests, call in utility hits as needed, assist with responses to utility hits
• Other miscellaneous general office duties as directed including some account receivable work

Requirements:

• Previous experience in Accounts Payable Clerk or similar office role
• Willingness to learn and multitask
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft programs is a requirement
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
• Experience in utilities and paving construction a major plus
• Experience with accounting software ComputerEase or Quickbooks a plus
