About Our Client
Our client is a fast-growing facility services provider specializing in regulated scientific environments β think pharma clean rooms, semiconductor facilities, and life sciences plants. They've scaled from zero to $45M in revenue in just three years, primarily through acquisition, and are building out their sales team to match that growth trajectory.
This is the second-ever sales hire at this company. That means real ownership, real impact, and a ground-floor opportunity in a $1B+ market with only six or seven salespeople competing nationally.
The Opportunity
This role is focused exclusively on a high-converting partnerships channel β selling facility inspection and compliance services to clean room construction companies. Here's why that matters:
- Construction firms building new pharma or life sciences plants don't have an existing provider yet β you're not displacing anyone, you're the first call
- The service is FDA-mandated β it's not a nice-to-have, it's required by law
- Win rates sit around 40% with a 2β3 month sales cycle
- Once you win a construction firm, they send you repeat jobs β it's a hunter/farmer model with compounding upside
National coverage. Minimal competition. A need-to-have service. This is a rare setup.
What You'll Do
- Identify and prospect clean room construction companies through outbound cold calling, email, and relationship building
- Conduct discovery calls and virtual presentations to win inspection service contracts
- Nurture and grow accounts over time β construction firms work on multiple projects and will continue sending work your way
- Operate with autonomy in an unstructured, entrepreneurial environment
Compensation
- OTE: $180,000
- Base: $100,000 β $120,000
- Quota: ~$1.8M in annual revenue
- Travel: ~10%
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of B2B sales experience with a consistent track record of exceeding quota β top 10% performance is the bar
- Hunter mentality β you build your own pipeline through outbound, not inbound leads
- Relationship-driven β you know how to win an account and keep it
- Comfortable operating in an unstructured, early-stage environment where you build as you go
- Background in pharma, life sciences, semiconductor, construction, or technical services sales preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
