We’re looking for mid-senior level 3D Visualization Artist, specializing in animation, to work from our BOSTON or SEATTLE studio locations. While you will work out of the Tactile studio, this position will be dedicated to one of our clients, supporting their Brand and Marketing needs. This role will focus on producing primarily 3D animations, as well as supporting renders for web, social media, and packaging.

Responsibilities

YOU ARE

• Able to create strong, evocative motion assets that amplify a product story
• Able to create photo real renderings of a range of products to be used for marketing materials (packaging, web, social media, etc.)
• An expert in your understanding of how to visualize materials and excited to push the envelope
• Proficient in color theory, motion, and lighting principles
• Able to create visual storyboards of an animation’s narrative
• Obsessive about detail and product accuracy
• Great at handling multiple workstreams with design direction
• Both independent and team-oriented
• Able to communicate ideas effectively in presentations/meetings, adapting style and detail level to client and project needs

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

YOU HAVE

• 7+ years of relevant experience working in the visual design profession
• BA/BS in related training or equivalent work experience
• Candidate must have strong knowledge of software tools, such as Cinema 4D, Redshift, Blender, Houdini, After Effects, as well as an in-depth understanding of the 3D production pipeline
• Portfolio of relevant work examples
• Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills
• Impeccable attention to detail
• Ability to work on and complete multiple tasks in a timely fashion
• Enthusiasm to adapt to diverse projects and clients, from med-tech to industrial to consumer electronics

NICE TO HAVES

• Experience in 2D and 3D motion graphics
• Experience in 3D modeling
• Experience in sound design
• Experience in video editing

Compensation

This position includes a base salary range of $100,000 - $150,000 annually. Individual salaries within this range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography. Tactile’s benefits package includes company-paid (100% for employee and 50% for family) Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, and Disability Insurance; a 401K with 4% employer contribution; and up to 34 days of PTO.
