ATC is seeking an onsite Software Engineer to be engaged in software development and testing activities. 1. Duties/Responsibilities:Candidate will lead and participate in software development, testing and integration efforts
2. Organize, coordinate and facilitate validation and testing of multi-vendor based space and ground hardware and software systems
3. Derive requirements through interactions with customers/users
4. Test, deploy and maintain applications
5. Configuration management

Basic Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or any other relevant technical field with 5+ years of software development and testing experience
2. Master’s Degree in computer Science or Electrical Engineering or any other relevant technical field with 3+ years of software development and testing experience
3. High School diploma or GED with 7+ years of software development and testing experience
4. Proficient with C++ programing language,
5. Experience with oriented programing languages
6. Qt to design graphical interfaces
7. Windows and Linux OS based programming experience
8. Familiar with configuration management practices (i.e. SVN, CVS, Git, and etc.)
9. Experience of developing a large piece of software (i.e. >10k lines of executable code)
10. Familiar with concurrent programming practices (i.e. using threads, synchronization, etc.)
11. Must have active TS/SCI US Government Security Clearance

1. These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:Understanding of User Interfaces (UI)s, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards
2. Web Development Skills – Java, JavaScript, HTML, HTML5, CSS, cross-browser compatibility, Web User Interface Design, Security Principles, Object-Oriented Design, Web Services
3. Programming Skills/Experience – Messaging (JMS), SWING, Frameworks (Hibernate, Spring, Camel), Apache Tomcat, SQL, GWT, JSON, JavaScript, Struts, Python, PHP, Oracle, MySQL, JDBC, SOAP, REST, ActiveMQ, HTTPD, Subversion, Ant, RPM.
