They should have experience in writing firmware using embedded-C and in general, fluent in collaborative, object-oriented programming. They should be comfortable explaining technical concepts to a wide range of audiences, and ideally have experience with embedded systems, firmware development, and application engineering or product test development experience with RF and mixed signal SOC devices.
What you will do:
Design our next generation ATE to enable the IoT revolution
Consolidate inputs from product roadmap, test strategy and manufacturing constraints to form a formal design framework for the next generation tester and feature description.
Evaluate design tradeoffs and make final decisions on approach(es)
Design and test prototype circuits, writing control code in embedded C
Characterize the final designs
Support adoption of the new test system by developers and production partners

Experience with embedded systems and firmware development
Working knowledge of signal integrity issues, simulations, and solutions
Desired Skills
Familiarity with IoT product security methodologies and techniques
Experience in test development with traditional test platforms (Teradyne, Advantest, Credence, etc.)
Coding in C and Python preferred with a focus on readability, reliability and scalability.
