REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in business, business management, finance, accounting, or similar
  • At least 1-3 years' experience in an Operations Administrator role Partner/Vendor support experience, or Procurement Coordinator role
  • In-depth/Advance Knowledge/User of Microsoft Excel & Access for reporting and database management
    • Write/use formulas and macros in both programs
    • Merge different databases/date sets into a single spreadsheet and/or database
    • Analyze, interpret, format, and summarize data for Management Review


Required Skills:

  • Strong written/verbal communication and collaboration skills. Candidates may be asked to provide samples as part of the interview process
  • Ability to interface with senior management on all escalations
  • Ability to interface with accounting and accounts payable


JOB DESCRIPTION

The Finance Specialist will serve as a point of contact within the financial process between our vendors and customers for MWS service offerings. The Financial Specialist will be responsible for monitoring all financial transactions for our service program and ensure all financial expectations are met and completed accurately. This individual will shadow the existing Financial Specialist prior to their going out on Maternity leave.
This position will report to the Sr. Director of MWS and can be a remote work from home position.

Responsibilities:
Include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist with daily financial operations, including tracking and responding to operational capacity, workflows, work volume, and project tracking assist with escalations
  • Assist with operational forecasting and planning
  • Audit payment and invoice accuracy and ensure all payments are made to vendors/partners in a timely manner
  • Prepare moderate to complex spreadsheets of analysis from MWS captured data and present and communicate results effectively across the MWS divisions
  • Administer and maintain MWS financial operations
  • Answer MWS billing inquiries from sales teams and customers
  • Assist MWS management in reviewing/maintaining purchase history for Profit/Loss Statement
