The Supply Chain Analyst will be responsible for managing key Supply Chain related functions such as materials planning, scheduling, ordering activities, direct/indirect material purchasing, inventory control, and supporting product throughput.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all supply chain functions and inventory management for assigned product brands & families.
- Plan, execute, monitor, and manage Purchase Orders.
- Participate in customer order and allocation reviews.
- Develop, recommend, and implement tactical corrective actions.
- Collaborate effectively with Category Management, Sales & Strategic Sourcing teams.
- Analyze and determine rules for inventory and replenishment plans that meet company service standards while minimizing supply chain costs.
- Provide reporting and analysis of supply chain data.
- Assist with Supply Chain continuous improvement projects, including implementation of a new ERP system.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or related field plus 1+ year experience in supply chain in any of purchasing, logistics, and/or demand planning/forecasting.
- Associates Degree in Supply Chain or Logistics plus 3 years’ experience in supply chain in any of purchasing, logistics, and/or demand planning/forecasting.
- Attention to detail is a must.
- Demonstrated history driving improvement in metrics such as: Customer Order Fill Rate, On-Time Delivery, Lead Time Reduction, Inventory Turns, Days of Supply
- Knowledge of International Logistics, including working with freight forwarders
- Prior consumer products company experience preferred.
- Prior knowledge and user of ERP/ MRP systems preferred.
- Knowledgeable user of Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- Highly organized individual with a proactive discipline.
- Team player with highly effective and positive personal interaction skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
