Our Boston, MA office is currently in search of a Senior Electrical Engineer with a minimum of 15 years of experience for our Transportation and Infrastructure Division based in Boston. Successful candidates must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university and be a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Massachusetts. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record, having successfully completed multiple MEP projects where they served as the responsible engineer. These projects should demonstrate proficiency in energy and load calculation software, specification/report writing, and various other electrical engineering tasks. Familiarity with Revit is advantageous, and strong computer skills, as well as effective oral and written communication skills, are essential.
Key responsibilities include serving as the lead in planning, which encompasses the development of proposals and budget estimates, design, and post-design of electrical systems for facility projects catering to a diverse client base. Our design services extend to both public agencies and private corporations, covering projects such as public transit terminals, transportation maintenance facilities, municipal buildings, and light commercial/retail spaces. Potential projects may also include correctional facilities, convention centers, maintenance facilities, public health structures, and higher education buildings. The role involves supporting design efforts in Revit and AutoCAD for the projects led, as well as assisting other senior electrical staff as needed. A crucial aspect of the position is mentoring and supervising junior electrical engineers and engineering specialists assigned to the projects.
The successful candidate has the opportunity to advance to the Director of Electrical Engineering for the group and actively participate in project management.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
Experience: Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering.
Registration: Must be a Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Massachusetts and have the ability to obtain and maintain PE licensure in other states.
