Purpose

Radiation Physics Consultants, Inc. is recruiting a Radiation Quality Control Specialist for an opportunity serving Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, and western Wisconsin. The specialist will join an established and respected physics consulting group that continually strives to provide high-level physics and radiation safety services to many hospitals and clinics in the region.

Education

Bachelor's Degree required preferably in science or engineering

Job Responsibilities

· The successful candidate’s primary responsibilities will be conducting physics testing in general radiology. All testing must be conducted with the highest standards of professionalism and confidentiality, complying with all applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures, in order to support our clients’ integrity.

· There will also be opportunities to assist with shielding plans, radiation safety, and research as necessary.

Skills

Working well independently, as well as with a team is expected, therefore, the successful candidate must be self-motivated, organized, dependable, teachable, and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
