About the Job

The Print Production Specialist reports to Card and Print Production Vice President. This position is responsible for materials and services related to printing, packaging, fulfillment, and mailing of transaction cards, catalogs, and other printed products to support NationsBenefits' clients. Responsibilities include procurement, shipping, managing a working inventory, tracking supplier performance, and other card and print fulfillment functions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a working knowledge of the services, materials, specifications, and production processes related to delivering cards, catalogs, and other printed products offered by NationsBenefits.
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to align procurement planning with client needs and company strategy.
  • Work with internal stakeholders, clients, and service providers to define and manage order specifications, packaging requirements, proof approvals, production schedules and delivery deadlines, and shipping methods.
  • Order raw materials, process consumables, and services related to the printing, packaging, fulfillment, and mailing of NationsBenefits' products.
  • Track supplier performance regarding production schedules and shipping dates and report as needed.
  • Organize and track shipments and final deliveries of materials to service vendors.
  • Track acknowledgments from service vendor staff relating to the receipt of materials.
    Track working inventory levels and service vendor usage reports as may be needed.
  • Manage ongoing purchasing activities in coordination with internal stakeholders and suppliers to efficiently meet demand and avoid both shortages and overstocking.
  • Monitor and maintain key material and service supplier relationships.
  • Track and report as may be needed on supplier conformance with order specifications, requirements, laws, regulations, and quality standards.
  • Create and maintain records, reports, and documentation related to procurement activities.
    Identify opportunities for cost reductions and reduced lead times through efficient order management.


Requirements:

  • 2+ years' experience in the printing industry with print industry experience in one of the following areas: purchasing, customer service, production management, or fulfillment operations
  • Detail-oriented and able to problem solve in both individual and in group settings
  • Strong written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills while interfacing with various stakeholders throughout the organization
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize deadlines
  • Strong sense of urgency
  • This is a position that can be performed remotely.
  • Remote work requires traveling – at peak periods, up to 50% of the time.


Preferred:

  • Experience in print production or customer service for printing services.
