This position is responsible for the design, production, and project management of graphics, assets, and initiatives with a wide variety of deliverables specifically created for Frymaster, brand partners, and customers. Works with product leads to create a shared vision and completes print and digital projects to ensure visual design communicates desired message. Upholds brand standards across all mediums. Thorough understanding of principles related to printing, graphics, web design, digital marketing, and communicating projects to team members. Demonstrates ability to manage/execute multiple projects simultaneously, adapt to rapid change and may produce reports or analyze data to identify industry or competitor trends that will affect the creative goal or vision.

Reporting directly to the Marketing & Communication Manager, this position is based in Shreveport, LA.

 

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITY:

  • Uses computer illustration and design software tools such as Adobe Creative Suite to design graphics, logos, presentation templates, photo collections, web animations, advertising, etc.
  • Manages digital asset collection, photo library, and literature files (sorts, catalogs, labels, and files images). Coordinates photo shoots, as requested. Manages outbound email marketing design for eblasts, marketing pages, forms, and lists.
  • Manages all social media platforms (Facebook, Linkedin, etc.) to effectively promote and maintain the brand in the marketplace. Liaison to other regional (LATAM, APAC, EMEA) leads to provide direction and approval.
  • Develops a full range of marketing materials, including POP displays, apparel, promotional items, catalogs, tradeshow support, and more by facilitating creation and timely delivery.

KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Manages and conducts updates to pricing catalog and specification sheets. Coordinates with third-party vendor for literature fulfillment program and works with third-party translation services in developing foreign language literature.
  • Understands and upholds branding concepts, design quality, and brand identity in the development of marketing materials. Serves as point of contact for developing brand identity issues. Maintains and updates branding guidelines standards.
  • Schedules social messaging utilizing enterprise platform on a continual basis and coordinates with regional leads for global messaging. Creates a social media calendar and tracks analytics in social media and website for reach and new trends.
  • Works with website maps and designs to ensure brand identity standards are met. Works with team members to develop product trees, site maps, mini-sites, product pages, and site upgrades. Develops and posts materials for website, newsletters, and other internal, channel, and customer material. Manages analytics for all websites and coordinates access or training as needed.
  • Writes copy ranging from tag lines and slogans to complete product texts in catalogs and advertisements.
  • Manages multiple projects and tasks, and sources and manages additional help as needed, such as photographers, illustrators, production artists, voice-over artists, etc.
  • Stays up to date with industry trends, best practices, and design technologies to maintain a competitive edge.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5-7 years’ experience required in accounting and financial management.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Advanced knowledge of graphic software programs (Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Creative copywriting skills with ability to rework text for a broad audience.
  • Experience in website maintenance and content creation.
  • Computer proficiency with MS Office.
  • In-depth experience in digital photography, color correction & calibration, and photo retouching/manipulation.
  • High level of energy and able to multi-task while meeting deadlines.
  • Highly creative and open to share new ideas and modify work based on team feedback.
  • Self-starter with a team-oriented approach. Proactive and able to easily interact with others.
  • Detail oriented and able to manage multiple projects. Demonstrated capacity to take on greater responsibilities as needed.
  • Must provide a portfolio of creative projects showcasing print and digital media.

Physical demands of the position:

  • Sitting: Extended periods of sitting at a desk or workstation while working on a computer or performing tasks.
  • Standing/Walking: Occasional need to stand or walk within the office premises, such as moving between work areas, meeting rooms, and common spaces.
  • Lifting/Carrying: Ability to lift and carry office supplies and materials, up to 20 pounds, occasionally.
  • Repetitive Motion: Regular use of hands and fingers for typing, writing, and manipulating office equipment.
  • Vision: Continuous use of visual acuity for reading documents, computer screens, and analyzing data.
  • Hearing: Ability to hear and communicate effectively with coworkers, clients, and customers in person and over the phone.
  • Speaking: Clear and concise verbal communication is essential for interacting with colleagues, clients, and team members.
  • Bending/Reaching: Occasional need to bend, stoop, or reach for objects on shelves or in cabinets.
  • Climbing: Minimal requirement for climbing stairs or using office building elevators.
  • Driving: Not applicable to this position as it is located within an office environment.
