Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Fraud Analyst to join our Tessitura Merchant Services team. Tessitura Merchant Services is built on the leading technology of global payment platform Adyen. Tessitura Merchant Services is an end-to-end solution, completely integrated with Tessitura CRM.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in protecting Tessitura and our members from fraudulent activities. You will help maintain the integrity of our payment processing platform by analyzing transaction patterns, implementing fraud detection techniques, and collaborating with cross-functional team.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Monitor transactions to identify and investigate suspicious activities and potential fraud.
  • Use data analysis and fraud detection tools to assess risk levels of transactions.
  • Develop and implement fraud prevention strategies to minimize risk.
  • Collaborate with the payments team, customer services and security teams to resolve fraud incidents and support affected customers.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry fraud trends and regulatory requirements.
  • Create and update documentation related to fraud detection processes and findings.
  • Provide regular reports on members' fraud trends and outcomes and the effectiveness of fraud prevention measures.
  • Work closely with product and engineering teams to enhance fraud detection capabilities of our platform.
  • Meet with customers in-person and virtually to provide advice about discuss fraud prevention.
  • Build and maintain fraud prevention documentation and change logs.
  • Undertake daily checks in our payment platform to identify and reduce the likelihood of false positive refusals.
  • Build and maintain risk profiles, block lists, and allow lists in the Adyen platform.
  • Identify opportunities to iteratively improve effectiveness of risk profiles and rules.
  • Potential travel 1-2 times per year for conference or team meetings


Required Skills and Expertise

  • Proven experience as a Fraud Analyst, preferably in the financial services, SaaS or e-commerce sector.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze large datasets and identify patterns indicative of fraud.
  • Familiarity with fraud detection software and tools
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • Knowledge of payment processing systems and regulatory standards related to fraud and financial crimes.
