Job Summary

We are building a team of creative-minded individuals who can help elevate and nurture a world-class Blue Chip brand. We are passionate about our work and we thrive on new creative opportunities. Our internal creative agency is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Senior Designer who lives and breathes brand experience and design, drives ideation and creativity while thinking about the strategic big picture. This team is responsible for the expression of the Darktrace brand in every aspect of the human experience. The right candidate should have high-level conceptual skills with identity systems, developing ads, and experience working across various media and mediums. Your work here will include a wide breadth of projects and materials—ranging from advertising, web, digital, data visualization, print, social, video to keynotes and events.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop projects from conceptualization through design into execution and delivery.
  • Lead in creating compelling and inventive solutions for integrated campaigns that uphold the brand.
  • Collaborate closely with the Creative Director, copywriters, designers and developers.
  • Produce deliverables that range from print and production to digital, web and multimedia.
  • Bring abstract concepts to life though typography, illustration, iconography and photography.
  • Have a deep understanding of Darktrace's business strategies and goals.
  • Command of Darktrace's brand's vision, systems, and documentation.
  • Help innovate and elevate Darktrace' design, visual systems and event graphics.
  • Help build style guides, design systems and inform creative implementation.
  • Produce comps, concept executions and presentations for the work.
  • Work closely with the Creative Director and other design team members to establish priority, fidelity and delivery of tasks.
  • Effectively communicate conceptual ideas and detailed design rationale both verbally and visually.
  • Clearly articulate and present work to the Creative Director and a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Ensure quality control and outcomes through art direction and critical thinking.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 6+ years of experience in creative agency, studio or in-house
  • A strong portfolio of design, showcasing an excellent sense of concept development, typography, layout, web and digital design principles.
  • High Proficiency with industry-standard design tools and software (Adobe Creative Suite)
  • Proficiency with business software (MS Office, Google Slides)
  • A professional knowledge of web and social media standards and limitations.
  • A pulse on what is relevant in culture, design and technology and can investigate, innovate, and develop design, print and digital trends.
  • A self-starter attitude with an excitement to work in a fast-paced, low-ego environment.
  • Ability to make persuasive arguments to influence design decisions with internal and external partners
  • Actively seek feedback and review of work; accept and act upon creative/technical direction.
  • Take direction well and be nimble to extend designs across platforms.
  • A Senior level design eye to distinguish good design from bad, careless from well-conceived and crafted.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and team.
  • Ability to collaborate with others–stakeholders, technical teams, partners and other designers.
  • Attention-to-detail, strong organizational skills and time management.
