SEL has an exciting opportunity to welcome a new employee-owner to our Product Compliance team in Pullman, WA. As a EMC Compliance Engineer, you will oversee projects, provide technical support to customers, and work in a state-of-the-art test facility.

As a Compliance Engineer, a typical day might include the following:

• Develop and maintain an understanding of product compliance standards and requirements.
• Provide basic technical assistance to SEL product groups.
• Create pristine product compliance procedures and reports.
• Review test documentation in accordance with ISO 17025 and other quality system and compliance standard requirements.
• Perform type tests as needed.
• Provide mentorship for Product Compliance and R&D technicians.

​This job might be for you if:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, relevant discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of product compliance and engineering practices.
• Experience with common test equipment and testing practices.
• Self-starter with excellent written and verbal skills.
• Knowledge of one of more of the following compliance areas: UL, CSA, IEC, CE.

Pay Range Data

Associate Compliance Engineer $58,100 - $90,900. Compliance Engineer $66,500 - $104,000. Our salary ranges are determined by job, responsibility, and location. We base our starting pay offer and title on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills.
