Job Description:

As a Website Performance Manager, you’ll be the main point of contact for all website-related relationships. Your goal is to shift from a reactive to a proactive mindset—leading the vision, strategy, and success of our website products. You’ll assist dealerships by quickly addressing their inquiries, resolving most issues on the spot, and ensuring every customer feels supported and valued.

You’ll focus on client satisfaction, retention, and introducing both revenue-generating and value-enhancing improvements. You’ll also identify ways to grow client relationships and help them get the most from their digital tools.

This is a full-time, remote position for candidates in the Continental U.S., with preference for those in the Eastern Time Zone.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Your performance will be measured by key metrics that ensure the division’s success:

  1. Retention Rate
  2. Revenue per Customer (Expansion)
  3. Average Response Rate (Engagement)
  4. Utilization (Adoption)
  5. NPS Survey Results (Advocacy)

Roles and Responsibilities

  1. Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring their needs drive every action and decision.
  2. Manage a full or complex account portfolio with focus on long-term client satisfaction.
  3. Communicate with clients to understand challenges, identify opportunities, and prioritize solutions.
  4. Conduct monthly client reporting on KPIs, lead generation, SEO, Google Analytics, and engagement.
  5. Review and present client feature requests to leadership for consideration.
  6. Clearly communicate project timelines, priorities, and deliverables while providing proactive guidance.
  7. Use Salesforce to manage requests, track product backlogs, and monitor efficiency.
  8. Partner with Customer Success teams to identify upsell and growth opportunities, increasing client lifetime value.
  9. Maintain high client retention by independently managing account performance and satisfaction.
  10. Collaborate across departments (digital, creative, etc.) to streamline both proactive and reactive support.
  11. Recommend website improvements such as performance upgrades, creative services, and responsive design changes.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  2. 2–3+ years in automotive digital advertising account management (required).
  3. Strong understanding of dealership operations and digital marketing.
  4. Experience working with all levels of dealership personnel.
  5. Knowledge of SEO, SEM, display, Google Ads, Bing, and related strategies.
  6. Google certifications preferred (Ads, Analytics, Video, Mobile, etc.).
  7. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  8. Strong customer service and relationship management abilities.
  9. Highly motivated, self-starting, and team-oriented.
  10. Energetic, proactive, and results-driven mindset.
  11. Experience using Salesforce.
  12. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  13. Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and website analytics tools (Google Analytics).
  14. Strong analytical and data-driven thinking.
  15. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
